Our Vision

"A thing may happen and be a total lie; another thing may not happen and be truer than the truth"

--Tim O'Brien, The Things They Carried

Sooth: noun, archaic. Meaning truth. Truth: synonyms: fact, verity, certainty, certitude. This definition falls far from its mark when it shouldn't be aiming for a specific target altogether. We want poetry that examines your uncertain truths and truths that are unafraid to redefine themselves. We want words that live outside the fear of being the wrong ones.

We look forward to reading your most honest work.
